Hello and welcome to my attempt at Boolprop's Genetic Roulette challenge. I chose Sims 3 as I hadn't played it in a while. Sorry for the screenshot quality. I'm still relearning everything.
I was debating on using different colors, but I ended up deciding to stick to the colors in the example. Also I chose Shakespeare characters as the name scheme, just because. I tried to do an Alphabet legacy with that theme once. I just wanted some interesting names.
Without further ado, here are our founding couple Angus and Anne Kane.
Angus and Anne gave birth to Beatrice.
Beatrice married Berkeley.
The two of them gave birth to Celia.
Celia married Charles.
And now we have our founder, Diana Kane. Diana has the traits: Loves the Outdoors, Great Kisser, Party Animal, Artistic and Frugal. Her favorites are:Classical music, Grilled Cheese, and Lime. Her lifetime wish is: Master of the Arts.
Diana's future spouse is Dionyza. Her traits are: Couch Potato, Good Sense of Humor, Vehicle Enthusiast, Angler, and Lucky . Her favorites are: Classical music, O Positive, and Violet . Her lifetime wish is: Become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder.
Here's their beautiful starter home. They need to make money fast to at least get some paint and floors in the house.
Because Dionyza wants to max the Science career, I sent her out fishing, at night of course because she's a vampire.
Diana meanwhile stays at home and works on her cooking skill. She managed to burn the mac and cheese she was cooking, so she's not off to a great start.
She then moves on to work on her painting skill to get started on her Lifetime Wish.
Pretty soon, she discovered she was expecting the first child of the challenge.
Since Diana is expecting, I figured it was time to have her and Dionyza get married.
They're a really cute couple!
I really miss these little interactions in the Sims 4. Maybe some day they'll add bed cuddles back in.
Dionyza pops the question to Diana, who of course says yes.
The two were quickly married.
Then it was time to celebrate their marriage with a little woohoo.
The celebration didn't last for too long because it's back to skilling for these two. I really don't remember how hard all the Lifetime Wishes are, so I'm having them skill quite a bit.
Diana and Dionyza got married just in time because baby number one is about to make an appearance.
Baby Edgar was born during the full moon. His traits are: Good and Couch Potato. His favorites are: Kids Music, PB&J, and the color Pink.
After arriving home from the hospital, Dionyza had the want to woohoo, so it's time to try for baby number two!
Dionyza is quite the good mom. She's always rolling wants to interact with Edgar.
Diana is halfway through maxing the painting skill. Maybe this will be a little easier than I originally thought.
She soon finds out that she's pregnant with baby number two!
I really love them together! <3
Diana is a good mom too, she's just a little busier than Dionyza. She still finds time to take a break from painting and take care of little Edgar.
Soon it's time for baby number two to make an appearance!
Francisca is the next child to join the family. She's Grumpy and Artistic. Her favorites are: French music, Grilled PB&J, and Sea Foam.
Edgar also had his birthday that night. He grew up with green hair and white eyes. Hooray for recessives coming through!
Sorry if this chapter was a little rushed. I'm still getting used to everything, and I'm not quite sure how I want to write up this challenge. Next time, we'll see how Francisca grows up, and I'm sure more babies will be on the way!
